Veterans have a higher incidence rate of suicide than the general population.
Veterans tend to be “tough-minded” and not seek out help.
Veterans die by suicide using a firearm 74.5% of the time vs. 53.3% of non-Veterans.

The Wisconsin Veteran Suicide Prevention Broadcasting Coalition has been dedicated to improving awareness and public education on Veteran suicide. Our public education campaign uses television and online videos, radio spots, email, and our websites to save Veteran lives.
We have proudly partnered with the Wisconsin Broadcasters Associations’ Public Education Program to get the word out and prevent suicides.
